1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS By accessing the services of Swa.ra Therapy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with our services.
2. CLINICAL SERVICES Swa.ra Therapy provides psychological counseling and psychotherapy. Our practitioners are registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or possess the required qualifications as per the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017.
2A. ONLINE/TELE-THERAPY PROVISIONS
- Technical Requirements: The client is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, a functioning camera/microphone, and a private, quiet space to ensure confidentiality on their end.
- Technology Failure: In the event of a technical glitch (e.g., power outage or internet failure), the therapist will attempt to reconnect via phone call. If the session cannot be completed, it will be rescheduled or billed pro-rata at the therapist’s discretion.
- Jurisdictional Limit: Tele-therapy is provided in accordance with the laws of India. If the client is traveling outside of India, they must inform the therapist, as licensing laws in the client’s current location may restrict the provision of psychological services.
- Suitability: The therapist reserves the right to determine if tele-therapy is appropriate for the client’s clinical needs. If the therapist deems that in-person care or a higher level of support is required for safety, they will provide a referral and may discontinue online sessions.
- Verification: For the first online session, the client may be asked to show a valid Government ID (Aadhar/Voter ID) to verify identity, as per statutory requirements for telemedicine in India.
3. APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
- Booking: Appointments must be booked in advance via our official channels.
- Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Late Fees: Cancellations made within less than 24 hours or “No-Shows” will be charged (Full Fee) .
4. PROFESSIONAL FEES
- Fees are subject to change with prior notice.
- Payment is due at the time of the session unless a package or monthly billing is agreed upon.
5. NO EMERGENCY SERVICES Swa.ra Therapy is an outpatient clinic and does not provide 24/7 crisis intervention. In case of a psychiatric emergency or suicidal ideation, please contact:

6. TERMINATION OF THERAPY The therapeutic relationship may be terminated if:
- The therapist believes the client’s needs are beyond their scope of expertise.
- There is a persistent breach of the attendance or payment policy.
- Professional boundaries are violated.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Therapy is a collaborative process and results are not guaranteed. Swa.ra Therapy shall not be held liable for any decisions made by the client outside of the therapeutic session.
8. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
